Our Story So Far

It is with a heavy heart that I ask for prayers for my family as we grieve the loss of David.

He went to be with Jesus on Monday, May 12.

We are still working through a lot of things, but God is with us and we know He is faithful and will bring beauty from these ashes. I know this will be another long haul, but we are blessed to know God will not leave us or forsake us, He goes before and behind, and He covers us in the shelter of His mighty wings!

We are not alone.

He has sent others to walk with us. Whether by blood, birth, marriage, past and present churches, re:generation, work, discipleship, or His own design in another way

our family is large

Our adopted family has lovingly acted as our Lord’s hands and feet—carrying us when we cannot walk. They have gave us comfort, ears to hear, advice, hugs, shoulders to cry on, their presence, and prayers.

We are so very grateful to every one, and there are no words we can say that would even begin to express our gratitude. So I will simply say… Thank You, Heavenly Father, for all You do and all You are!

Thank you to all who have come alongside us in this journey, and all who will as the days progress! We welcome calls, texts, emails, visits, and we truly appreciate your grace as we work to respond as quickly as we can. Be assured nothing goes unnoticed, but instead shores us up for the next day or moment.

Please feel free to share this site with others. We know there are many we’ve missed during this time of shock and processing.

Our aim is to only point others to Christ in this and allow Satan nothing to gain anything from this, so we will unashamedly speak truth, love, Jesus, redemption, and restoration! Please join us in celebrating David’s life here and his joy he now gets to experience in heaven!
